In all the positions that he held and the departments he headed, he has worked to safeguard the rights of the common man. He possesses a distinct style of managing his staff and subordinates. Identifying with their issues and treating them as his own hands, he has ensured resolution of some serious labour and human resource issues including labour union strikes and industrial action by Resident Doctors.

He has conceptualized and founded various organisations during his career, for effective working of the departments he headed. His risk-taking ability, perseverance, ingenuity, a sense of forethought and planning, has led to many pioneering initiatives by him.

He has successfully acted as an adjudicator and resolved various judicial issues that were brought before him during his career. He has represented Gujarat in various countries & addressed a large number of Chambers of Commerce, Trade Associations and NRI Associations in different parts of the world as well as within India.
